While being a man-made, small waterfall, the Bayfront Park Waterfall in Petoskey, Michigan is a beautiful feature of a great park. I was up there to see a Kid Rock concert and took a detour through Petoskey, stopping by this park facing the north shores of Lake Michigan.

The rocks were the main feature of this image. With the water spilling down in the background, the foreground rocks showed where the water was going to, and this makes an excellent, fluid composition.

Some sharpening was needed on the rocks in the front of the image while softening of the waterfalls at the rear also helped.

Michigan has a lot to offer. This photo was in a park near Lake Michigan and is no less spectacular than any of the natural features found in this beautiful state.
