I stopped at the corner of Noble and Meech Roads in Williamston, Michigan, and saw this perfect alignment of power poles receding into the distance. The morning light illuminated them and the field of ripe soybeans below in a golden hue.
I pulled over and took a few shots. It was a bit difficult to line them all up in a pleasing arrangement in my viewfinder, but I finally got them where I wanted them in this photo.
The closest power pole's cross bar is at the intersection of the golden mean lines. The parade of poles receding into the distance leads the eye to the center of the photo the lower golden mean line. It takes you right into the golden soybean field.
I hope you like this photo and get the feel of a fall morning, driving in the country.
